This series included painted canvases emerging from a base canvas toward the viewer. Each one of the projecting canvases could have been an individual painting on the wall, except that the back of the frame was also a painted canvas. Each work is considered a family unit, with the parents represented by the base canvas and the children projecting onto the world.
