I have never been interested in copying something that exists in nature. Nature has already done a magnificent job of creation, and no artist is ever going to match, never mind improve on that. To get as much variety as possible, I have drawn on techniques I have used or, in some cases, developed at various stages of my career, even back to those I used in the 1960s. The works are paintings of mixed media.
