The Environment series includes Impressions of Australian, Korean, and American lands.
Australian works offer glimpses of a typical Australian landscape and its people.
Here, Alexander relates to the viewer the ethnic motives of that land. Some of his Australian paintings are light, some very dark, relating to the harsh treatment of the aboriginal people.
Korean and Los Angeles impressions are also full of life and color, reflecting the multitude of different ethnicities and groups residing there.
It is also essential to notice the totemic importance of the small items strategically placed on each work, making it magically enhance the details and character of that particular land.
