The holopainting series combines holography and painting in a new way. It is a complete marriage of holography and painting, a unique interaction between technology and Alexander’s spiritual and ethical feelings. Technology here is not used for its own sake but as an instrument to express ideas and feelings that can not be embodied in any other fashion. They also show, yet again, Alexander’s tenacious attachment to thoughts and ideas, which preoccupied him even before he knew anything about the new medium and its possibilities.
